When Left is Right

Disclaimer: By natural inclination I'm a free-market supporter that also wants the government out of our bedrooms.

That said, I watch the rise of the angry Liberal Left through such personalities such as Keith Olberman. I think the nation is so jaded by the hateful rhetoric of shock-jocks such as Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh - and their as yet unapologetic cheerleading of the Bush Imperial Presidency - that Olberman's rise was almost inevitable. Want proof? Money quote from the latest Coulter column:

"The Iraq war has been a stunning success. The Iraqi army is "standing up" (as they say), fat Muqtada al-Sadr --the Dr. Phil of Islamofascist radicalism -- has waddled off in retreat to Iran, and Sadr City and Basra are no longer war zones. Our servicemen must be baffled by the constant nay-saying coming from their own country. "

Time for liberals to stop coming across as Soy-Latte drinking wusses. Since the Right as all-but abrogated their own Principles and the Constitution, the Left must step up to the plate.
