Meanwhile back in DC

It's over. The Democratic RBC hammers out a fair compromise that re-enfranchises voters in Florida and Michigan, while punishing their leadership for flaunting the rules. The only person other than the unruly hecklers that seems unhappy is Harold Ickes. I used to think highly of the former first couple but now they seem little better than the way the Republicans portrayed them. Power über-alles - damn the rules. Those are for mere mortals.
